John Lennon look-alike Tom "Lennon" Raider
performing a loving tribute to Beatle John Lennon Performing nationally with Yesterday-A tribute to the Beatles and solo as a John Lennon Impersonator (featuring keyboardist Rich Coogan), musician Tom "Lennon" Raider provides entertainment with a wide audience appeal that will help you create a successful private or public event. Tom has performed at casinos across the USA including The Tropicana in Atlantic City, The Horizon in Lake Tahoe, Turning Stone Casino in Verona and Red Rocks Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas. Other national appearances include concerts, festivals and fairs in Bear Valley, CA, San Bernardino, CA, Culver City, CA, Miller Performing Arts Center in Jefferson MO, Troy University Davis Theatre in Kentucky and Coral Shores Performing Arts Center in Coral Fl., and the Radisson in Burlington VT Solo and full band (Imagining Lennon Live!) performances include opening a concert for the Beatles original drummer Pete Best as well as appearing with renown Elvis Presley impersonator Jim Cawley and his Superstars & Legends concerts. Imagining Lennon has been the feature artist in bookstores such as The Well Red Coyote in Sedona, Arizona, as well as private events in PA, NJ & NYC. Tom performed his third consecutive year at First Night in Saratoga Springs, NY an event that attracts nearly twenty thousand people every year. Other area appearances include the 50th year summer celebration of the Guilderland Public Library, Bethlehem River Festival, Catskill’s Music In the Park series, six appearances at the famous Van Dyck in Schenectady and multiple appearances at Union College. Area radio appearances include a number of guest spots on PYX 106’s morning show “Waking Up With The Wolf”. Tom appears as John Lennon in the film The Killing Of John Lennon (2008) and has also written the soundtrack music for two indie films by Grand River Films, “Every Pixal Tells A Story” (2002) and “Stagehand” (2005), viewed recently at the Electric City Film Festival in Schenectady, NY. Both films were shot in the NY Capital district area. Tom currently finished the music on a third film Tales From The Script which is currently in post production and slated for the film festivals in 2009. Magazines and newspaper articles include features in The Times Union, The Altamont Enterprise, Arizona’s KUDOS and Sedona.biz Audiences of all ages enjoy listening and singing along to the classic songs John Lennon wrote and performed with The Beatles as well solo gems like “Imagine” and (Just Like) Starting Over. Offering the full look, mannerisms, voice and music as well as the charming and funny wit of the ever popular Beatle, Tom “Lennon" Raider’s remarkable recreation of the famous Beatle is sure to bring a memorable highlight to your event.
